Nevada solar plant cuts 300 jobs
A solar array production plant in North Las Vegas has cut its workforce by two-thirds less than a year after opening.
The Las Vegas Sun reports that Flextronics Industrial laid off about 200 of 300-plus employees Tuesday.
Singapore-based Flextronics is the staffing partner with Seal Beach, Calif.-based Amonix Inc. in the $18 million plant.
